Announcing Artist Selections for 3rd NEC Gala Concert
Internet voting by music fans has resulted in the following selections of performing artists. The program consists mainly of the works in each artists' repertory that were most favored by 4413 voters.

"Your choice! The 3rd NEC Gala Concert"will be held on Friday, March 20, 2009, from 15:00, at Hamarikyu Asahi Hall. As the program shows, it promises to be a very pleasurable musical event.

Here are the winning artists, along with the top vote-getting works they will perform:

About "Your Choice! NEC Gala Concert"

With the support of NEC Corporation's program of sponsorships for the arts, the Japan Association of Classical Music Presenters maintains the "NEC Navigates Japan's Classical Music Artists" website, which provides information on gifted music artists of Japan.
"Your choice! The NEC Gala Concert" is an outgrowth of this information service. This year marks the concert's third anniversary. It consists of six artists selected by Internet voting from eleven entrants, who are all among the artists listed at this site. They will appear to perform the works music fans wanted most to hear. Their performances will be an extravaganza you won't want to miss!

Admission: Special supporters (*) - JPY5, 000 / Regular tickets - JPY3,500 / Balcony - JPY2,000 (Reserved seats)
*Special supporter seats: Specially reserved section for fans wishing to express extra support for the participating artists. Hamarikyu Asahi Hall is known for its excellent acoustics, and these 200 seats lie within the zone of acoustic perfection.
