Asia Orchestra Week 2008 -- Asia United! Three Nights of Musical Excitement
On October 2-4, Tokyo's Opera City concert hall will be the venue of a three-day "Asia Orchestra Week" featuring Asian-Pacific orchestras invited to Japan to perform. This year, the Sichuan Symphony Orchestra from China, the Ho Chi Minh City Symphony Orchestra from Vietnam and the Busan Philharmonic Orchestra from Korea will be performing programs arranged around three motifs. The ensembles will play orchestral works that are somehow descriptive of their countries, concertos that feature outstanding new soloists of the respective countries and great classical pieces that show the orchestras at their best.

Orchestras like these on their way to greatness have a special vibrancy that can captivate the most discriminating music fan. This is a set of not-to-be-missed opportunities at amazingly low admission prices!
