Cellist Kaeko Mukoyama has performed solo, in chamber orchestras, and on radio and television and has planned concert programs as well. Next Wednesday, she will be making a long-awaited return to the stage in Tokyo for an unaccompanied recital.
Though much of Ms. Mukoyama's time is currently devoted to child care, she hasn't lost her easygoing manner, an approach that comes out in her performances as music that soothes and cheers, like a cocoon of peacefulness. That is the big attraction her fans will certainly be looking for in this unaccompanied recital.
