The Result of The 8th International Oboe Competition of Karuizawa

Sony Music Foundation announced recipients of the 8th International Oboe Competition of Karuizawa. This competition was formally known as “International Oboe Competition of Tokyo”. Starting with their 8th year, competition venue will be relocated to Karuizawa (Nagano, Japan), and thus renamed “International Oboe Competition of Karuizawa”.
The Final stage was held at the Karuizawa Ohga Hall on October 22,2006.


First Prize: Lucas MACIAS NAVARRO (Spain)
Second Prize: Nora CISMONDI (France)
Third Prize: Mikhail ZHURAVLEV (Russia)
Finalists: Victor AVIAT (France)
               Cho EUN YOUNG (South Korea)
               Qing LIN (China)
Mozart Award: Lucas MACIAS NAVARRO
                       Cho EUN YOUNG
JAL Award: Keiko IYADOMI (Japan)
Encouragement Award: Tomoko KUSUMEGI (Japan)
