The final rounds of The 75th Japan Music Competition were held at the TOKYO OPERA City Concert Hall from the 17 October to the 22 October 2006. The competition was sponsored by The Mainichi Newspaper and NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation). It is known as a gatewayto the musical career for young and talented musicians.
