Tokyo, July 30, 2004 ---The Agency for Cultural Affairs' the International Performing Arts Festival (IPAF) is going to be held from September 12 to November 12 2004 in Tokyo and Kansai area in Japan.
IPAF, which was initiated in 2002, aims at contributing to the promotion of international cultural exchanges, as well as disseminating good co-productions of performing arts to the world by providing an opportunity of the cooperative performing arts and the cultural exchanges for artists and art productions of our country and of overseas.
This year's IPAF with theme of "Cultural Exchanges among Asian Countries" will unfold 12 events including joint concerts by artists from Japan and different Asian countries and experimental concerts at museums in Tokyo and temples in Kyoto.
