Profile
Born 1972 in Saitama, neighboring prefecture of Tokyo (Japan). Graduated 1995 from Tokyo University of Music. Advanced studies in singing in the post-graduate course of Toho-Gakuen University of Music with the diploma. Diploma’s studies in the Training Program of New National Theatre, Tokyo (1998-2001). Further stipendiary studies abroad principally in Germany (2002-2003) sent by the Agency for Cultural Affairs of Ministry of Education and Culture. Conferred 2003 the highest Prize in the International Dimitri Mitropoulos Singing Competition, Athens and sang the role of Corfi, Goddess of Vengeance in the Opera “Eumenides” composed by Vagil Tole at Herodes Atticus Amphitheatre in Athens (world premiere, 2005). Received “Hotel Okura Music Award” (2005). She got highly attention and appreciation for her appearances in numerous operas and concerts to cite some roles:
