Born in Tokyo,Yasuo Horiuchi who is the winner of international competitions the Toulouse, the J. Gayarre, the Bilbao studied at the conservatoire in Milan, and started the carrier from '94: "La Boheme" "Rigoletto" at Teatro La Fenice in Venice, "Macbeth" "Rigoletto" at Teatro dell'Opera in Rome, "Les Pecheurs de Perles" at A.B.A.O <Bilbao Opera>, "Carmina Burana" at Malmö Musiktheatre in Sweden, "Nabucco" in Busseto Verdi Festival (100th Verdi Anniversary), "Macbeth" at Hungarian State Opera House in Budapest, "La Navarraise" at Teatro Nacional de Săo Carlos in Lisbon etc... His debut in Japan was Germont of "La Traviata" that was conducted by K.Ono and was the production of Fujiwara Opera Company, with A. Gheorghiu in '97. As a one of the most important singers in the company, he sings regularly the operas and the concerts with the international celebrated artists like M. Freni, M. Guleghina, E. Mei, L. Bartolini, M. Giordani, N. Ghiaurov, R. Scandiuzzi, A. Guadagno, D. Oren, M-W. Chung. He is a member of Fujiwara Opera Company from '98.
