NEC Navigates JAPAN'S CLASSICAL MUSIC ARTISTS

This association was established for the advancement of classical music and to popularize and enlighten classical music, which will lead to the promotion of allied industries and, consequently contribute to boosting the economy and the quality life of the Japanese people.

The association administers businesses connected to classical music.
For example, general management, concert hall management, publishing, broadcasting, information gathering and distributing, and many others.

The activities of the business concentrate on the following, these are all in connection with classical music:

Cultivate the talented staff and supporters
Research and study
Popularization and enlightenment
Maintenance and administration of intellectual property rights
Collection and provision of information
Interchange and cooperation between associated organizations, both national and international
and any other connected businesses

NEC’s Involvement in Art Support Programs

"NEC Navigates Japan's Classical Music Artists"

NEC is proud to support this unique program via the Internet to provide people in every corner of the globe with opportunities to experience Japan's superb classical music talent. It is also our goal to help Japan's talented artists enhance their recognition worldwide through this activity. The program was developed in partnership with the Japan Association of Classical Music Presenters as part of NEC's corporate citizenship activities. NEC provided the Association with various forms of expertise as well as financial support.

Other Programs

NEC has also been pleased to support arts through "NEC Community Concerts," the "NEC Art Education Program," the "NEC Early Music Series," and various other international art programs, such as the Edinburgh International Festival. Also, in the past, we sponsored international concert tours of the Boston Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Seiji Ozawa. The common element in our community involvement activities has been the goal of building a better and enriched life in the future. Under the slogan "Nature, Education, Community: The Heart of NEC," we promote activities in areas such as earth conservation, education, social welfare, culture, and sport as well as the arts.
