"NEC Navigates Japan's Classical Music Artists" |
 |
 |
The Japan Association of Classical Music Presenters (JACMP) and NEC
Corporation (NEC) jointly introduce you to a promising group of Japan's
classical music artists. We look forward to promoting their international
activities by enhancing awareness of them through this site, which also
includes various types of classical music news. This program is called
"NEC Navigates Japan's Classical Music Artists".
Presently, only a small number of classical music artists have gained international recognition as artists of outstanding stature. There are, however, many other highly accomplished classical music artists in Japan. Increasingly, these artists are becoming active overseas. There are also non-Japanese classical music artists of high caliber who work in Japan. As a part of JACMP 's international promotion activities and NEC's international cultural support activities, "NEC Navigates Japan's Classical Music Artists" was established in 2003, to promote greater international awareness of these artists using the Internet and to help expand their opportunities to perform on a world wide scale. The web site can be found at: http://japansclassic.com/
